South Block to Donate Juice Sales to Local Families in Need

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 27, 2020 – In an effort to "Juice it Forward" & bolster its ongoing goal of giving back to the community, South Block, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia’s premier spot for smoothies and acai bowls, will be donating fresh fruits and vegetables to local families in need with the purchase of every bottle of cold pressed juice, through the company’s nonprofit, Fruitful Planet.

 

Amir Mostafavi, founder and CEO of South Block, established Fruitful Planet in October of 2019, working with local farmers, schools, and other local nonprofits, Fruitful Planet is helping to raise awareness, funds, and produce to help underserved communities. To date, Fruitful Planet has donated 54,124 lbs of fresh produce to families in need, around the DMV.

South Block is on a mission to nourish the people of the DMV and is excited to see how this campaign further serves the community it calls home.
