Not all acai is created equal, be sure you are purchasing from businesses that use only fair trade acai.  Unfortunately, some acai farms use labor and harvesting practices that are unethical, including the use of child labor.  Our acai is purchased from a small acai farm in the rainforest, which is fair trade & organic. There are strict labor and harvesting guidelines that our farm must adhere to. We also make sure that our farm is getting paid a fair price. We would rather pay more for a product we can stand by in both quality and ethics.
